Matt is the VP of Finance of Summit Management Partners.  Matt was previously the VP of Finance and Controller at Aquesta Financial Holdings, Inc, a publicly traded community bank based in Cornelius, NC. At Aquesta, Matt helped lead the finance and accounting team during a period of significant growth culminating in the sale of Aquesta to United Community Bank, Inc.  Prior to his time at Aquesta, Matt was a Manager in PwC's Financial Services Consulting Practice where he assisted varying financial institutions interpret and comply with laws, regulations and accounting standards.

 

Matt holds a BS in Business Administration and a Master's of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Matt also holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina.

 

Matt grew up in HOA managed communities in the Charlotte area, where his father is currently serving as the President of his HOA.
